Why is aftercare so important?

While it is true that the treatment itself may bring instantaneous effects, what’s more important is how you treat your skin after. The difference between doing proper aftercare compared to ignoring all the precautions is massive; it is the prime factor to how much the effects will be maximized!

Some of the main precautions for all treatments is as follows:

Make sure to apply good amounts of moisturizing cream as the skin can get especially dry post-treatment
Make sure to avoid heavy sun exposure, re-applying sunscreen under the hot sun
Do not irritate the skin by using heavy exfoliants or deep pore cleansers

For some treatments, the aftercare precautions are a little bit more specific. In the following treatment examples, we will explain further about what precautions you should be aware about!

👉🏻 Botox

Botox treatments are easy and quick but they do require specific precautions so the effects last long! As botox treatments are typically injected in the areas where you would be using the most facial muscles, it is especially important for you to refrain from purposefully using them. This is because since botox relaxes the muscles for a temporary amount of time, purposefully testing out the muscles will only quicken the wear-off process.

Ultimate Lifting is a special lifting combination including fat reduction injections and Shurink HIFU lifting. Through this treatment, you will be able to see dramatic improvements in the sagging of the skin around the lower jaw areas as well as the under chin area. An unique precaution to Ultimate Lifting is in the downtime: the face will become extremely puffy for around 12 hours. Heavy amounts of fluid are injected into the problem areas which then break down the fatty layers before being excreted through urine. However, before the process of breaking down, the face will be extremely puffy from the built-up solution. During this period, it is important to keep the bandages attached on the injection points to avoid any fluid from potentially leaking and to prevent possible infections.
